Allentown Police Officer Tasers using his stun gun on a 14 year old girl video

Surveillance video of a police officer firing a Taser at a 14-year-old girl was released as part of evidence for a federal lawsuit filed against the officer and the city of Allentown. The video first shows Keshana Wilson, 14, walking towards a car on the street with two friends. The video then abruptly cuts to Allentown Police Officer Jason Ammary struggling with Wilson.

Before the incident, the school was "having problems" with students being "disorderly" at school dismissal. Attorney Richard J. Orloski has filed a lawsuit on behalf of the girl's mother claiming excessive force, but police was right to use the taser due to the "use-of-force continuum."

Steve Jobs Has Died

Steve Jobs, Apple co-founder died shortly after he resigned from the company Apple. When you see the front page of Apple.com, can be seen in the last photo at Apple and on another page there are several awards for industry to Steve Jobs. He died after years of struggling to cope with cancer. He died at the age of 56 years.

Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Steve left a company that has him up, and his spirit will certainly be the basis of Apple, Steve founded Apple when he was 21 years along with Steve Wozniak and Mike Markulla.

Video Amanda Knox Verdict

An Italian court has overturned Amanda Knox. Amanda Knox was found not guilty of killing her British roommate, 21-year-old Meredith Kercher, in 2007, and will be freed from jail. Knox tearfully told the court she did not kill her roommate. Knox frequently paused for breath and fought back tears as she spoke in Italian to the eight members of the jury in a packed courtroom, but managed to maintain her composure during the 10-minute address.

The judge upheld Amanda Knox's conviction on a charge of slander for accusing bar owner Diya "Patrick" Lumumba of carrying out the killing. The judge set the sentence at three years, meaning for time served. Knox has been in prison since Nov. 6, 2007.

Gay Marriage In New York

Hollywood has long pushed for equality, breaking restrictive taboos with its honest, emotional depictions of gay men and women in positive ways. Gay couples and proponents of gay rights have a reason to celebrate tonight, as the New York State Senate has passed a bill that allows same sex marriage.

New York will be the sixth, and largest, state in the union to adopt gay marriage. Governor Cuomo signed the bill into law at 11:15pm on Friday, which means the law will take effect on July 24, 2011.

A fatal collision on Old Tappan Road in Lattingtown claimed the life of an 18-year-old resident and seriously injured a 17-year-old Locust Valley male on Monday morning, according to Nassau County Second Squad detectives.
Isabella Grasso, of 10 Mindy Court in Lattington teen killed in car crash, was driving southwest on Old Tappen Road–a road that runs behind Glen Cove High School's track and football field–at 7:25 a.m. Monday morning when her 2003 Mercedes Benz 2 Door convertible crossed over the yellow line and collided with the male victim's 1998 Ford Explorer, police said.

Ashley Turton, Wife of White House Adviser, Found Dead in D.C.

Ashley Turton, director of congressional affairs for Progress Energy, was found dead in a burning car Monday morning in Washington, Politico reports. Turton's husband is White House deputy director of House legislative affairs, Dan Turton.

Ashley Turton was found inside her BMW X5. The BMW was in the couple’s garage at 800 A Street SE. At 5 am, fire officials found Turton dead in the vehicle, roughly 7/8 inside the garage. The car was found positioned at an angle. Investigators are unsure if the car fire erupted when Turton was exiting or entering the garage.

President Obama led the nation in a moment of silence on Monday for the victims in the Arizona shooting, standing somberly with his wife, Michelle, their heads bowed, overlooking the South Lawn of the White House.

An Arizona congresswoman, Representative Gabrielle Giffords was shot outside a grocery store in Tuscon, Arizona, while holding a public event, Arizona Public Media reported Saturday.

Giffords, who was re-elected to her third term in November, was hosting her first “Congress on Your Corner” event at the Safeway in northwest Tucson when a gunman ran up and started shooting, according to Peter Michaels, news director of Arizona Public Media.

Nothing House Press Secretary at White House

"It's true," White House press secretary Robert Gibbs just told CBS News, when asked about stories this morning that he is leaving the administration as House Press Secretary. NPR's Mara Liasson has also confirmed the news.

Gibbs Deputy Bill Burton says there's no decision yet on a successor to Gibbs. A decision is expected within weeks.
