Venus Williams cruised through her first-round match at the Australian Open on Monday (Jan. 17), defeated Italy’s Sara Errani 6-3, 6-2. But media and fans weren’t just focused on her strong backhand or 100-plus mile-per-hour serves. Her self-designed, aqua blue mini-dress was also drawing attention
The mini dress/long shirt, which Williams designed herself, has made headlines since its debut on Monday.
Now during the Open, she won against Sara Errani but the internet peeps didn't seem to care about her having won the match. They cared about her outfit!
Now she said to reports about her little shorts stating:
"It really was an 'Illusion' dress, the illusion when I wear the nude shorts under. But at the last minute I decided not to."
