Danielle Lloyd topless again in Zoo Magazine

Danielle Lloyd was born December 16, 1983, in Liverpool, England. The

daughter of a respected bank manager and an engineer, Danielle was a sickly
child who contracted whooping cough at the age of 3 months. The affliction left
her lungs severely weakened and she suffered from asthma for most of her early
years. Despite her condition, Danielle still managed to get into plenty of
mischief. “I was always dancing and running.” she recalls. In fact, Danielle’s
long legs proved to be so adept at running that she represented her county in
cross country running and hurdles. She also competed nationally as a member of
the Sports Acrobatics Liverpool Team.

Danielle turned her attention from athletics to modeling at the age of 16,
which was when she began entering a number of competitions in her native
Liverpool. Then, tragedy struck. The night before the Miss Merseyside Pageant,
Danielle was savagely beaten by an abusive boyfriend. ”I was attacked and
dragged from my car by my hair, whilst it was still moving,” she recalls. “After
falling to the ground I was then dragged along the road feeling every piece of
gravel embedding itself into my back, legs, arms and head. Suddenly the car
stopped as it hit the curb and rolled over my arm. I lost most of my hair in
clumps and had severe cuts and bruising all over my body.” Despite her
innumerable injuries, Danielle still went ahead with the competition and
miraculously placed in the top seven.

That happy ending to an otherwise horrific event encouraged Danielle to enter
more competitions and she soon won a bevy of impressive titles including Queen
of Clubs World Model of the Future, Miss Hawaiian Tropic Great Britain and Miss
Velvet Lounge Liverpool. Every subsequent win also helped her to regain her
dignity and confidence.

Danielle’s self-esteem received another tremendous boost on July 17, 2004,
when she was crowned Miss England and invited to compete at the Miss World
Pageant. Although she came up short against her international peers, Danielle
regained top billing on February 26, 2006, when she was named Miss Great
Britain.

Unfortunately, her victory was short-lived when it was revealed that Danielle
had been dating football star Terry Sheringham, one of the pageant’s celebrity
judges. That, combined with her decision to bare all in an issue of Playboy,
resulted in pageant organizers stripping her of her crown on November 2, 2006.
Although most women would have been devastated, Danielle took the news in stride
-- much as
Vanessa Williams
did when she was stripped of her Miss America crown for her
Penthouse pictures -- and capitalized on her newfound notoriety with racy
appearances in Maxim, FHM and FRONT Magazine.

Although Danielle figured the 2007 show would be a fun-filled experience, the
opposite became true when she and several of her housemates were accused of
making racist remarks toward their fellow housemate, Shilpa Shetty, a well-known
Bollywood starlet.

The ensuing backlash cost Danielle six-figure modeling contracts with motorcycle
insurance firm Bennetts, fashion label Rocawear and adult website BeCheeky.com.
It also ended her relationship with Sheringham, who was disgusted with her very
public remarks.

Danielle has since rebounded somewhat by becoming the new face of Ladbrokes
Poker and by signing a publishing deal to write a book documenting her mixed
experiences in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

So, what's next for this lovely Liverpudlian? You might be surprised by her
answer: “I would like to visit many countries and work towards helping those
people less fortunate than others. ... We have so many children and parents who
are living in poverty and have to beg or work from a very early age just to be
able to eat day by day. Surely everyone should be able to eat a meal and drink
clean fresh water whenever they want.”

Religious Right Group Urges Boycott of Playboy's 'Girls Next Door'

The Florida Family Association is making noise with a campaign against the E! Channel reality series "The Girl Next Door," which follows the exploits of Hugh Hefner's Playboy bunny paramours. FFA founder David Caton claims his group has successfully pressured 325 companies into pulling their advertising from the cable TV show.

"For all practical purposes, Playboy's 'The Girls Next Door,' which airs on the E! Channel, is nothing more than an infomercial designed to promote Playboy Enterprises' various products: their magazines, Internet service, and videos," Caton told the religious right-wing website OneNewsNow. "Most mainstream companies do not appear on there anymore – with the exception of just a small number, and Arby's seems to be one that has hung in there since 2005."

The FFA has launched a new campaign on its website enabling users to send emails to "about 20 corporate contacts" asking Arby's to drop its advertising. [SOURCE]

Hendrix Estate Disputes Vivid Sex Tape

LOS ANGELES - The estate of the late Jimi Hendrix is disputing the authenticity of the 8mm footage seen in Vivid Entertainment's new release 'Jimi Hendrix: The Sex Tape'.
A statement to the press from Experience Hendrix reads:
"We, Experience Hendrix, the family company of Jimi Hendrix are aware of the release of the adult videotape which alleges to contain illicit footage of Jimi Hendrix. We strongly dispute the claimed authenticity and affirmatively state that Experience Hendrix is neither involved in, nor have we authorized the distribution of this film. Further, we deplore this unsubstantiated exploitation of Jimi Hendrix. We view the release as nothing more than a callous attempt to trade on the image and reputation of a deceased artist who is unable to defend himself against such an outrageous and baseless assertion. We are highly offended by the disgraceful portrayal. While we do not wish to call undue attention to this desecration, we reserve all rights and remedies under the law to protect the character and legacy of Jimi Hendrix with which we have been charged and legally possess."
Vivid responded this morning with a statement from co-chairman Steven Hirsch.
"The press release from Experience Hendrix is not in any way a refutation of the authenticity of ‘Jimi Hendrix the Sex Tape.' Vivid took considerable time and spent a substantial sum of money to authenticate the footage and we are very comfortable that this is the real thing," said Hirsch.
Hirsch continued: "Anyone who believes it is not Jimi Hendrix in this video should come forward and prove it, rather than rely on their emotions to make baseless claims. It's worth noting that the primary nay-sayer about the tape is so-called expert Charlie Cross. How can Charlie say it ‘doesn't add up?' I'd like to know what he means by that since he told me personally that he only saw about 30 seconds at the beginning of the footage when Jimi was lying down with his face distorted. Cross also told me that Jimi never went anywhere without his 8mm film camera. So, are we that shocked that Jimi was a sexual person whose exploits were captured on film?"
Hirsch goes on to cite contradictory remarks made by Kathy Etchingham, a former girlfriend of the late guitarist who came forward last week to say that the man seen in the footage is not Hendrix. AVN pointed out Etchingham's inconsistent remarks in an article that appeared here.
"Since the release of the video on Wednesday we've been approached by others who may want to step forward to verify its authenticity and if they do, we will release their opinions in due course," Hirsch said.

Analysts: Internet Video Poses Traffic-Jam Danger

The surge in Internet traffic from video data has drawn the attention of industry groups, analysts and researchers who are concerned about service delays.

The threat is mostly from the increasing visual richness of online communications and entertainment: video clips and movies, social networks and multiplayer games.

It is estimated that YouTube consumed as much bandwidth in 2007 as the entire Internet did in 2000.

Nemertes Research projected in a November 2007 report that user demand for the Internet could outpace network capacity by 2011.

The title of a debate scheduled for an April technology conference in Boston sums up the concerns: "The End of the Internet?"

While a lights-out Internet crash is not expected, analysts say users would experience sluggish download speeds and frustration with data-heavy services.

"The Internet doesn't collapse, but there would be a growing class of stuff you just can't do online," said Johna Till Johnson, president of Nemertes Research, which predicted the bandwidth squeeze by 2011 and projected that demand will grow by 100 percent or more each year.

Andrew M. Odlyzko, a professor at the University of Minnesota, is among those who are worried about the short term. He estimated that digital traffic on the global network is growing about 50 percent each year, in line with a recent analysis by Cisco Systems.

However, the technology for handling Internet traffic also is advancing at an impressive pace, Odlyzko said, noting that router computers for relaying data are getting faster, fiber-optic transmission is getting better, and software for juggling data packets is getting smarter.

"The 50 percent growth is high - it's huge. But it basically corresponds to the improvements that technology is giving us," said Odlyzko, a former AT&T Labs researcher.

Demand is not likely to overwhelm the Internet, he said.

It is more than a technical problem, since it will affect the shape and cost of the nation's policy on broadband infrastructure, a matter that is expected to attract political attention after a new presidential administration takes over in 2009.

While experts debate the urgency of addressing the challenge, they agree that it points to a larger issue. High-speed networks sometimes spawn new businesses, markets and jobs. American investment must not lag behind, they warn, or the nation risks losing competitiveness with countries that are making it a priority to move to higher-speed Internet access.

"The long-term issue is where innovation happens," Odlyzko said. "Where will the next Google, YouTube, eBay or Amazon come from?"

The worries about digital traffic congestion also hit close to home, since analysts estimate that it can cost $1,000 or more to string high-speed optical fiber to a home.

This leads to access speeds that vary in different countries. It depends on local patterns of corporate investment and government subsidy.

Frederick J. Baker, a research fellow at Cisco, attended a professional conference last month in Taiwan, where Internet access is more than twice as fast and costs far less than his premium high-speed service in California.

Baker said that when he described his service to people in Taiwan, they would "shake their heads in disbelief."

In the United States, the investment required to cope with rising Internet traffic will have to be established at several levels, not just cable and telecommunications carriers.

Tim Pozar, an engineer and a co-owner of the Internet service company UnitedLayer in San Francisco, said a number of forces were combining, including the surge in bandwidth-hungry video applications on websites, the need to handle traffic from more Internet-enabled devices like cellphones, and shortages of electrical power for data centers in places like San Francisco.

"We're running out of horsepower to accommodate the demand," he said. "And upgrades needed in data centers are going to be a lot more expensive than in the past, now that all the excess capacity left over after the dot-com bubble burst has been gobbled up."

Demand is catching up with supply. In its prediction of more than 100 percent annual growth, telecommunications research company Nemertes assumed brisk use of new innovations like high-end videoconferencing, known as telepresence, which corporations are beginning to embrace as an alternative to costly, time-consuming travel.

If this technology becomes a consumer product in the next few years, as some analysts predict, Internet traffic could spike even more sharply.

Moniker Brokers $4 Million Domain Sale for FreePorn.com

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. - Moniker, a provider of domain asset management services, brokered the sale of adult entertainment portal FreePorn.com for $4 million.

The sale of FreePorn.com has been designated one of the largest-ever sales of a two-word domain name and is the largest domain transaction of 2008.

"A marketable domain name is crucial to the success of any online adult entertainment business, perhaps more so than in any other industry," said Monte Cahn, co-founder and president of Moniker. "FreePorn.com is generic in nature, helping its new owner benefit from direct navigation and general inbound inquires directed at the site daily."

Additionally, Moniker has verified the results of its live and online domain auctions from Internext Las Vegas. The auctions grossed more than $1.5 million.

Visit the "marketplace" section of Moniker's website to view all domains that were sold during the live and online auctions.

Moniker has donated $5,000, the proceeds from the sale of AdultPhotoExchange.com, to the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection. The donation will help support the ASACP's work toward protecting children's online welfare.

"The donation of AdultPhotoExchange.com from Moniker is much appreciated and will increase awareness about the ASACP and its mission, as well as help fund our operations," said Joan Irvine, CEO of the ASACP. "By following professional business practices that reflect an online business that is by and for adults only, website operators are helping protect children. Companies like Moniker are examples to the adult community. Their commitment to educating business owners on how to professionally and ethically manage their online business is commendable."

Moniker brokered more than $20 million in sales of adult-related domains in 2007, including names sold at Internext auctions in Las Vegas and Miami.
