Hugo won the most nominations at the 2011 Academy Awards event. Adventure films of Martin Scorsese, adapted from the novel "The Invention of Hugo Cabret 'by Brian Selznick's got 11 nominations. Hugo 'is a fantasy adventure that happened in Paris train station in the early 1930s.

Hugo Cabret is a young boy whose mother has died and lived with his father, a watchmaker, who took him to see the movie and loved the George Méliès films.

Kristen Stewart opens up about Breaking Dawn sex scene which was too steamy to show

Real-life couple Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson will appear in the first sex scene of the series in Breaking Dawn- due for release on November 18.

And to add fuel to the hype, the 21-year-old actress has admitted that the first time they filmed it, things got so heated that the scene had to be completely re-cut.

Marzieh Vafamehr sentenced to 90 lashes for making film about films and secret reports of Iran

A verdict has been issued for Marzieh Vafamehr, sentencing her to a year in jail and 90 lashes.

Actress Marzieh Vafamehr who made a film challenging the limits imposed on artists in the Islamic republic has been sentenced to 90 lashes and a year in jail according to a Iranian opposition' website Kalameh.com. Marzieh Vafamehr is then forced to lead a secret life in order to express herself artistically.

The government arrested a further six independent filmmakers last month, on charges of collaborating with the BBC to show the country in a poor light. Two of them, Naser Saffarian and Mohsen Shahrnazdar, who were accused of providing the BBC's Farsi foreign language service with information, films and secret reports to paint "a black picture of Iran and Iranians, Vafamehr is not the only person in the Iranian film industry to face harsh treatment.

EW has report that Kristen DID attend the Water for Elephants premeire after she was spotted sneaking out the back door of the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York on Rob's arm and now photos of the pair kissing in the back of the car have emerged!. Stewart, 21, did show up at the after party and shared a kiss and a smile with Pattinson, 24, in a car before leaving, the magazine said.
