Leila Lopes got rid of the toughest competitors from Ukraine, namely Olesya Stefanko. Leila Lopes, was crowned the winner of the 2011 Miss Universe competition by Miss Universe 2010, Ximena Navarrete from Mexico (above). Lopes celebrated her win on stage during the live broadcast on NBC from Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Lopes interest in the Miss Universe when she walked in catwalk wearing evening dresses. The owner of this exotic skin looks beautiful and elegant evening dress with sexy cut that drove her elected as a favorite evening dress.
The pageant, held in Brazil's industrial hub of Sao Paulo, had earlier been hit by controversy after Miss Colombia was reportedly chastised for allegedly donning short frocks without undergarments at official appearances.
Further controversy broke out as pageant officials had to return all of the official swimsuit bikini bottoms produced by local company Catalina Robayo Brasil Swimwear because they were too revealing for network television.
