Rumors spreading all over the internet this weekend that Facebook Will End on March 15, 2010 has denied by site Facebook.
“We didn’t get the memo about shutting down, so we’ll keep working away like always,” Facebook said:
The silly rumor started when an article published via a news-parody website called Weekly World News. The news report said that founder Mark Zuckerberg had announced at a press conference, “Facebook has gotten out of control and the stress of managing this company has ruined my life. I need to put an end to all the madness.”
Mashable.com also confirmed the news via email sent from Facebook Director of Corporate Communications, Larry Yu that the rumor is not true.
“The answer is no, so please help us put an end to this silliness” he added.
